Our high purity Indirect Zinc Oxide 99.5%min/99.7%min is a white hexagonal crystal system powder. At room temperature, it is odorless, tasteless and non-sandy. When heated, it turns yellow and returns to its original color upon cooling. Its melting point is 1975℃ and boiling point is 2360℃. It is insoluble in water but soluble in acids, strong alkalis, ammonia water and ammonium salt solutions. It sublimates when heated to 1800℃. It is mainly used in the rubber industry (accounting for 50%), varistors, paints, feed, medicine and other fields.

Basic information
The indirect method of zinc oxide distribution in rubber is uniform. It has a large contact area with hydrogen sulfide, and the interface reaction is sufficient. It can efficiently be converted into zinc sulfide, enhancing the activity of the accelerator, reducing the amount of the accelerator (about 30%), shortening the curing time (about 20%-30%), and making the curing more thorough. It also improves the thermal conductivity, wear resistance and tear resistance of the rubber.

Application
1. Tire application: Indirectly applied zinc oxide is a key additive in tires (especially radial tires), enhancing thermal conductivity (aiding in heat dissipation), wear resistance (increasing lifespan), and tear resistance (improving safety), while reducing the amount of zinc oxide used (approximately 30%). Directly applied zinc oxide, due to its poor vulcanization activity, cannot meet the performance requirements of tires and is only used in low-end rubber products.
2. Transparent rubber products: High-activated zinc oxide (such as nano-zinc oxide) can replace traditional carbon black activators due to its small particle size (<100 nanometers) and good dispersion, avoiding the blackening of the products while maintaining vulcanization activity and reinforcing effect. Directly applied zinc oxide is not applicable as it contains many impurities and has large particle sizes, which would cause color changes in transparent products.
3. Special rubber products: In chloroprene rubber, zinc oxide acts as a vulcanizing agent and a thermal conductor. High-activated products can significantly improve thermal conductivity; in white latex, zinc oxide acts as a coloring agent and filler, requiring high purity (to avoid staining by impurities) and high activation degree (to ensure vulcanization effect).
